Account Director

We’re looking for a fresh and innovative Account Director who is self-motivated, highly driven, and experienced in account management and customer success. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be collaborating with multiple teams (Product, Client Success, and Development to name a few!) to contribute directly to Viafoura’s revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for retention, development, and upselling of focused accounts
  • Develop a foolproof success plan to ensure organizational adoptions and expansion of our products
  • Strong understanding of our clients’ business strategies and audience development challenges
  • Close renewal business on a monthly basis, meeting, or exceeding your quota
  • Establish and grow relationships with executive sponsors and decision makers to ensure client success
  • Discover expansion opportunities within accounts
  • Turn successful clients into brand advocates
  • Become familiar with the Viafoura Audience Development Platform
  • This position is based in Toronto

Must Haves

  • You’re great at creating and managing relationships
  • You’re passionate about winning and doing what it takes to be successful
  • 3+ years of account management experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets with new and existing clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and adapt to the requirements of various client accounts
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to ensure client needs are met and projects stay within scope, budget, timeline, quality, and other KPIs
  • Skilled in developing strategies for client accounts to fully leverage technology solutions
  • Experience managing client accounts in an CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
  • In-depth knowledge of the media industry and landscape would be a plus
